The Red Tiger Research Center has been the driving force behind Topsec’s steady growth and technology innovation for the last 10 years. A group of professionals and seasoned technical experts who specilize in network security and information technlogy, who has been carrying researches in the lab since it was founded. They have acquired and mastered some of the leading-edge technologies such as NP, ASIC, and ASIC+NP architecture. They have also developed the patentable technologies TOPASIC (Topsec ASIC) and TOS (Topsec Operating System). In research and development, they have learnt from well-known process NPD and quality assurance processes such as CMMI, P-CMM, TL9000/ISO900, 6Sigama, SWEBOK and PMBOK, and created an unique development and quality assurance standard TopQMS (Topsec Quality Management System).TopQMS provides a strong guildine for product development and life-cycle managment, and guarantees product performance and reliability. In 2003, the Red Tiger Research Center recruited a team of hardware specilists from North America whom have many years of development experience in telecom and network security. They devoted themselves to ASIC design, firmware design and system development. So far, the team has already developed a true wire-speed gigabit ethernet hardware system that is based on TOPASIC. This is the first time ever that TNA (Trusted Networks Architecture) is being promoted, and wire-speed firewall and IPS products are designed and delivered to the security market in China.
